Let's go to Sardinia!
A journey sailing across an emerald sea, past small and large coves of white sand: this is Sardinia, an island that amazes visitors with its natural contrasts, light, and colors, a land of ancient traditions, surrounded by wild and unspoiled nature. The sea reigns supreme with its colors, insinuating itself into the winding coves, along the coasts and beaches, in the most popular destinations. The Costa Smeralda, with its pearl, Porto Cervo, is a prime example. Those who prefer the mountains to the sea can explore the Gennargentu, Sardinia's largest mountain range, with its picturesque landscapes where nature holds a prominent place. Here, flora and fauna are abundant, with mouflons, golden eagles, Sardinian deer, and various species now on the brink of extinction. Among its wonders, Sardinia offers visitors the Nuragic complexes scattered across the territory, unique monuments that bear witness to an ancient and still partly mysterious culture dating from the 15th to the 6th century BC. The Nuraghe—built with large blocks of stone—are arranged around a central tower in the shape of a truncated cone, conveying a sense of solidity and power. These archaeological sites still reveal traces of ancient rituals and domestic life with an archaic charm. Among many, the Barumini complex in Medio Campidano is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
